davemonkey Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 have you checked power options to see if your cpu is throttling ? control panel -> hardware and sound --> power options --> high performance

davemonkey Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 have you checked the bios to see if the cpu settings are correct like the multiplier and fsb frequency? if it shows correct in the bois it most likely is a operating system issue. try booting into safemode and see if the cpu speed is different

airman Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 You definitely have to be missing something for CPU throttling - look for options called "C1E" or "Speedstep" and make sure they are turned off.

My_Inner_Fred Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Well CPU throttling saves you power anyway. Is it really heavily effecting you gameplay? What game? What settings? It might be your 260 not being able to handle your game.
alijon Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Anyway thanks to all... i already fixed my problem by disabled my bios C1E and MAX I.D limit....
