Ok got the time to read the interview and wow. This game has everything missing in DayZ I'm going to preorder it the second its available. $30 and all updates are free.

 

Form Clans/Alliances

Softcore/Hardcore Game Mode

Safe Settlements to trade (Can still be killed by other players here. If you ever played a MMORPG with neutral towns its like that. The guards will attack anyone trying to kill another player in there).

Discoverable quests via gathering information, exploring, diaries left behind, and etc.

Multiple settings: Colorado (First one) and others in the works such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, etc.

Multiple characters

RPG style leveling (Choose to level up your gun handling, survival and medical skills, tracking, etc. There is no level cap either, so I assume you can just keep leveling your skills.)

Players can leave behind notes to be helpful, troll, or as a lure to a trap (sounds like Demon's Souls / Dark Souls, except you can't rate those messages haha)

 

Feature-wise this looks like its going to be a good game. The one thing DayZ needs right now is some kind of end-game. I can die and gather supplies within 1-2 hours. Then its like what the heck do I do now. Not all that interested in finding the rarest loot or repairing vehicles or hunting down other players. The only enjoyment I get out of DayZ now is just helping new players gear up haha.

This does look awesome, the second they said signing up for the bets I scrolled down and entered.

 

They should do a thing like PoE (which I've admittedly been playing less of despite paying for beta access and enjoying it) where you fund the game by paying for early access.

I think I read somewhere that Pre-orders get CBT access and that there would probably be some preorder discount as well.

I agree! Can't wait. I love how they are adding that "RPG" element in it yet, keeping that realistic feel to it. If they pull this off. It will be a HUGE popular game!

On another note, IMHO arma 2 and dayz weren't worth the money even on the steam sale . Graphics circa 2003

I'm looking forward to this. I signed up for the beta so we'll see if it'll be worth buying. I haven't played day z though.

If someone bought it and was disappointed in the graphics, they have only themselves to blame considering there are so many videos, screenshots, etc. out there to look at before buying.
