El_Capitan Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Maybe make it more than one option? Â I use VMWare, Virtual PC, and Hyper-V. I use Hyper-V more than any other, however.

Nerm Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 I changed this to multiple selections as most that use virtualization use more than one platform at one point or another. Â I myself use virtualbox, vmware, and hyper-v regularly. I have some clients using Virtual PC for XP mode also.
Fragsman Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Once I had to install Windows 2000 to be able to use SQL Server. It is nearly impossible (or very hard) to install it in XP. Â Also for gaming MMORPG I installed also (Multiple accounts) now the game (MU) can run itself multiple instances of the game. ARandomOWL Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) I have used VMware, Virtual PC and Virtual box at some point. All worked equally well for my use. Currently using Virtual Box on Ubuntu. No particular reason. Edited July 3, 2012 by ARandomOWL

CheeseMan42 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 I use VMWare at work currently and have used QEMU in the past. Also, you may want to change it to KVM/QEMU as KVM appears to be more well known and uses QEMU.
