Sly_C Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 its really not that much of a deal, newegg has the exact same card for $215 plus free shipping and ur gonna pay taxes which is gonna be about that anyway (i don't knwo where u live but here in nc i think sales tax is either 6.5 or 7 cents and with 7 cents it addes up to $14) , plus theres rebates which means u have to pay the whole $299 up front, which lessen the deal even more if ur like me and hate rebates because they take forever to come back. Sly_C Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 199.99 after mail in rebat and in store rebate.... read the fine print its actually 270.. u still gotta pay taxes and $215 is better than $270 anyway.
Mr_Yuck Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 after: $70.00 instant rebate(s) $30.00 mail-in rebate(s) Only $30 Rebate. Instant rebate is just a glorified discount. so it's $230-30 a few weeks later. And compusa gives you the rebate form with your reciept, unlike officemax, who gives you a booklet that doesnt always contain the rebate.... I am thinkin it looks like an alright deal... ccokeman Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Its a good deal plus you dont have to pay shipping. The key is go to circuit city and have them price match and get it for 199.99 +tax no waiting for a rebate! I bought mine a week ago so i got the $100 back plus 10% and tax back great deal for me !!!!!!!

Mr_Yuck Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 (edited) I hate this, so hard to decide on a video card.... Edited February 17, 2004 by Mr Yuck
Sly_C Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 i stick by my previous post, its really not that good a deal seeing as u have to pay tax on it which is going to equal if not pass what the card costs on newegg. the only advantage is there u would get it now, newegg u have to wait like a week.
