Gigabyte RMA

Recommended Posts

Well, it looks like I have to rma my motherboard (in sig). I was just wanting to know if anyone here has had any experience with gigabyte rma, whether it be good or bad? Its been a LONG time since I've went through an rma process.

For those wondering what happened to it, The 2nd pci-e slot died, so i cant use crossfire, and the ethernet port quit working as well. No idea why, but I've been having stability issues with it since I built it last october. As soon as the ethernet port and pci-e slot quit working, this thing became stable as a rock. Weird huh?

Ditto - last time I had an RMA with Gigabyte was on a video card. Process went smoothly and turn around time was 4 days from the time they received the card. My only complaint with GB RMA policy is no cross-shipping option that I'm aware of.

I sent my old P45 Extreme board to them and they got it back to me fast (as nothing was wrong with it lol, my PSU had blown)

I sent in an used GTX 580 to them with no issues since serial based warranty (didn't ask for invoice). They were the first ever to actually fix it and return the sent product. I've done RMAs plenty of times and usually end up with a replacement.
