well, cooler arrived, i installed it. and problem is totally gone. went from 6k graphics score to 10k on 3dmark11, max temp is 62 degrees on the hottest core, 55 on the other, and that was without this new cooler maxing out its fanspeed, going for some overclocking now, cause vregs are also maxing at 50 degrees :thumbsup:

Also posting a minireview of the cooler, because i took heaps of pics of the entire process

Wow that stock cooler must've really been s*** ! Did you notice a bad themral paste job on the reference cooler when you removed it or anything unusual ?

There must have been something wrong with it...thermal throttling at stock speeds is unheard of in 3DMark.

Tolerance is a sign of weakness.
