Replacing old speakers

So it seems like my left speaker is dead now. Most likely a wire issue... but I am unable to fix it.

 

I currently own a pair of [/url]Logitech LS11 2.0 Speakers which have lasted me for 5 years and a half. I've had a satisfying experience with them and would love to buy the same pair again, but I feel like stepping up to a better set of speakers that would provide better sound quality.

 

 

Down below are the speakers I've been looking at lately, any recommendations? What do you guys and gals think?

 

Logitech S-220 17 watt 2.1

 

Logitech LS21 7 watt 2.1

 

 

My budget is somewhere around $20 $30ish dollars.

I use Altec Lansing BXR1221 they are nice and you can get them at walmart for around $30 for the 2.1 or $19 or less for the 2.0 sets they don't compare to my logitech 5.1's but for a small set they aren't bad

I see mixed reviews on that one. I'll put it up on my comparison chart.

 

I'm not to worried about bass quality, how is the highs and the lows? trembles?

I have listened to alot of different stuff and for a cheap 2.1 I have no complaints. They are not as clear or crisp as my G35 headset but the bass response is better I think.

I'll give the Altec Lansing's a try then. I should receive it in 4-5 business days.

from using alot of the logitech 2.0 systems throught the years these altechs are pretty nice and the sub rounds them out nicely too
