I just like whatever catches my eye and looks unique to be honest. :)
I agree, there is a vast difference between a car for show and a car for go.

I tend to appreciate function over form most of the time, but I'm able to admit when something looks good even if it has little practicality.

Just like me and my retardedly low mustang.

Agreed.

But when style gets in the way of function...that's when I draw the line. :P

  • 11 months later...

Bump to an old thread - had fun chopping up the rear subframe, bumper support, and bumper. No more parachute bumper!

In progress with one of the lower subframe mounts cut off:

Do I look happy?

All done!

And yes, it needs a serious bath.

I don't have any pictures but I also wired her up for sequential fuel injection. Throttle response is so sharp it's actually harder to rev-match than before since I got used to the lag from the batch-fire setup. MPG is better as well when cruising and it's far smoother at idle and low RPM cruising in high gear.

Throttle response lag? Whats that?

It's what you have with a carburetor.

At idle, punch it. That lag is what I'm talking about.

Lol, I run so rich that I don't even have lag.

Sequential injection runs in batch fire at WOT. Only real advantages are part throttle smoothness and idle emissions :).

Nice to see you still working on your car!

Only if your injectors are running 100% at WOT. Mine are at roughly 50%, which does lead to a bit better spray pattern based on my injection timing.

They're only "batch mode" if they're basically locked open at WOT.
