I think it should be clarified that the stripes won't be tiger stripes...lol

 I didn't even think of it that way. No, no tiger stripes on this one. :teehee:

I'm thinking something like this on the fender (Grand Sport hash marks):

Along with an offset stripe like this down the passenger side:

Protip: just because your car is flat black, doesnt make it a lambo

Well duh.

That's nice looking but a lot wider than I was thinking of. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 4-5" stripe with a smaller 1" stripe next to it down the passenger side. After I get the base coat done I'll post up some pictures and open it up for the OCC photoshoppers.

Don't rice it out with a bunch of stripes and stickers and stuff lol. Just keep it simple and don't attract attention! Nothing beats a car that blends in.

It's not going to be riced out. Just flat black with a stripe and maybe hash marks on the fender. The exhaust is going to stay stock as well, though the cat is already gutted so it's a bit throaty when I step on it. I didn't realize it when I first drove it but the redline is 7200 RPM...it sings quite nicely up there. :)

Obviously, in true Waco fashion, it'll be completely badgeless as well. I hate badges. Everyone knows what a freakin' Miata is anyway.

I don't think that's true Waco fashion, because I'm also fully debadged except for the rear ford badge lol.

And flat black? Are you sure? I've seen some flat black cars around here, and I don't know if it's because they aren't taken care of or what, but they look terrible. I'd only drive a flat black car if it was a hot rod or rat rod.

 Every car I've owned has been completely debadged...so it's Waco fashion for me.

As for the flat black - look at the Lumina picture above in this thread. That was a few weeks after I painted it and it looked that way till I repainted it. Most of the flat black cars you've seen are probably spray bombed (which usually looks like absolute crap). :teehee:

Spray bomb might be why. I've only seen matte black on riced out shitboxes so it must have been a spray job.

That's definitely the problem. I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't think I could do it properly.

Also - finally got my phone to send the damn picture I took to my computer (and I'm still waiting on 2 more) but here is one of the new tail lights:

I don't know what you'd actually call them. I just got them because they're blacked out.

I think they're blacked out Euro style lights, but I'm not sure. I'm not touching the lights on my car, they look fine. All I care about is the driving experience.
