I was going to say that even with upgrade discs, I have been able to (in the past) install it as a "full install", not activate it, then upgrade the non-activated OS with the "upgrade" disc
When I did it with this laptop. I was pulling my hair out. What little I have
It just was not working. I kept registering on the first install, when I knew not to.
Then it hit me. Install without registering then register after the second one.
But it will not work 100% of the time. All the time.
