AndresP Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 (edited) Guys Witch one is better, for gaming!! because the Z68 have some Overclock features and the P67 doesn't but it seems that the P67 got more in ports and stuff, Help http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/SABERTOOTH_P67/#specifications OR http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/Maximus_IV_GENEZGEN3/#specifications Edited April 24, 2012 by AndresP
IVIYTH0S Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 What's the price difference and just ask yourself if the Z68's features are more favorable over the P67's connectivity
vandreadstriker Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Both have the same overclocking potential IMO. Almost all the features on the ROG board are Gimmicks. For gaming, I'd say get the cheaper one of the two.
Il_napoletano Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 so what are the actual differences between the two chipsets? is one just newer or does one not support SLI?...
vandreadstriker Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 (edited) 1.P67 was the first chipset for 1155 along with H67 (With P67 you can OC but can't use IGPU, H67 the other way around) 2.Then the Z68 came which mates the features of P67 and H67 + Features like Virtu MVP, ISRT, etc.. 3.And Now the Z77 chipset with newer features, native USB 3.0 and PCIE Gen3 Pure performance wise, they're all similar IMO.
