P67 or Z68 for Gaming PC

Guys Witch one is better, for gaming!! because the Z68 have some Overclock features and the P67 doesn't but it seems that the P67 got more in ports and stuff, Help

What's the price difference and just ask yourself if the Z68's features are more favorable over the P67's connectivity

Both have the same overclocking potential IMO. Almost all the features on the ROG board are Gimmicks.

For gaming, I'd say get the cheaper one of the two.

so what are the actual differences between the two chipsets? is one just newer or does one not support SLI?...

1.P67 was the first chipset for 1155 along with H67 (With P67 you can OC but can't use IGPU, H67 the other way around)

2.Then the Z68 came which mates the features of P67 and H67 + Features like Virtu MVP, ISRT, etc..

3.And Now the Z77 chipset with newer features, native USB 3.0 and PCIE Gen3

Pure performance wise, they're all similar IMO.

Have you ever used the features of the z68 maximus: Game first, ROG etc..? is it worthy to pay a bit more for those features?? Because it looks like its better in a Gaming vision,

but this other mobo z68 PRO/GEN 3's got gpu boost, turbo, eufi wich i dont know what that is, etc etc..

the z68 PRO/GEN 3, have an integrated graphic card, in my case i already bought the gtx 560ti, will be useful the integrated graphic card having a video card?

 

there are so many options same price, but apparently one better than the other so confuse.. if it's your choice pick one of these 3, my pc is in your hand

You guys are awesome!! this page is awesome! im just scared because im building a new pc 1st time in my life!.. and i want it to kick asses but i don't want to spend money in stuff i'll never use if you know what i mean unless i'll use it in the future and it worth to pay a bit more.. so please i hope you understand me..
