bp9801 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Last I heard it was Free-To-Play with purchasable content. Yep, free-to-play. Linking your Live account gets you an additional plane and new challenges, and lets you play multiplayer that way. So no Dan, you do not need to buy anything to play multiplayer, just link your Live account to the game.

VaporX Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Actually a lot of fun, the tutorial makes me feel like I am doing something.<div><br></div><div><br></div>
mikedosul Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Personally, I think it's terrible, mostly because it's very VERY arcade feeling. I do realize it's not a replacement for FSX...so I'll keep using it along with quality add-ons and other sims like DCS in the mean time. 90sgamer Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I'll download it just to do this. At least in this game no one is shooting at you *Video* Hilarious!! Its about all I could probably do too without a joystick.

Tjj226_Angel Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Does anyone know if the code is open source for the game? I would love to make a plane that looks like the blue screen of death

xPETEZx Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 hmmm Dosent look like there are any bigger planes included or available to buy. Looks like I will be sticking to FSX. Propeller planes just bore the . out of me. Need Folding Gear, Glass Cockpit etc!!
MJCRO Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 (edited) Just played a couple of the missions. It's OK, but boring as hell and really seemed too arcadey. Edited March 1, 2012 by MJCRO
mikedosul Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Does anyone know if the code is open source for the game? I would love to make a plane that looks like the blue screen of death Last I heard (I'll have to find a link, but it was from a beta-tester/FSX add-on reviewer), Microsoft was planning to control all add-ons for Flight, so no . And those of us familiar with FSX and earlier know that is effectively killing the product before it launches. The strength of FSX is it's add-ons, and many of the (quality) producers IRIS/A2A/VRS have said under the current plan, they will not produce add-ons for Flight.
