Updating Android phone at 50% battery charge V. 100%

Recommended Posts

Here I'm really eager to update my Play to Android 4.0.2 or something, when I tried to update it warned me that my battery had too little charge... told me it needs to be at 50% at least... so should I start the update at 50% or 100%, any repercussion for doing so?

I don't think it's ICS I think it's an update to 2.3.7 :(

TODAY IS LAST DAY FOR THIS COMPETITION!!!

Best to update from 100% in case the update takes longer but even at 70% it should be fine to update.

Actually I even flashed my Sensation at 70% and when I was done, it was still 55% charged

You should be fine at 50%. I've flashed ROMs onto my android phones at well below 50% and as long as you know the update isn't going to take forever I wouldn't worry about it.
