DanTheGamer11 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) Here I'm really eager to update my Play to Android 4.0.2 or something, when I tried to update it warned me that my battery had too little charge... told me it needs to be at 50% at least... so should I start the update at 50% or 100%, any repercussion for doing so? I don't think it's ICS I think it's an update to 2.3.7 TODAY IS LAST DAY FOR THIS COMPETITION!!! http://hexus.net/tec...-graphics-card/ Edited February 28, 2012 by Dan The Gamer
jdm_freek Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 i would fully charge only to make sure it does not power off during update.
vandreadstriker Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Best to update from 100% in case the update takes longer but even at 70% it should be fine to update. Actually I even flashed my Sensation at 70% and when I was done, it was still 55% charged
SMeeD Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 You should be fine at 50%. I've flashed ROMs onto my android phones at well below 50% and as long as you know the update isn't going to take forever I wouldn't worry about it. DanTheGamer11 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I need the phone to be plugged in lol anyways... It's nearly at 100% using the wall charger.. Takes ages with a laptop
Waco Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 As long as it's plugged in it shouldn't matter.
