Turn off the power saving freatures on your new board (since your older board probably didn't support them properly). The SB850 ties the SATA speed in to the CPU speed, something your nVidia chipset didn't do.

i think i have all that stuff off but ill double check. i know im using the high performance power profile and i believe i turned off the stuff in the bios. Can you think of any specific settings that I need to look for that I maybe overlooking?

Hmmmm there is only little drop in some drive speeds. Nothing major.

 

So when you installed the new board how did you do it? clone it over or fresh install?

 

Also what drivers are you using for the chipset?

ok I figured it out but im not sure if this is right i ran atto and had an older test saved and i have them side by side. Does this look right?
