I decided today was the day to unbox my 2 new 7970's and run a few benchmarks. On to the pics!

1st benchmark everything set at stock. Not really much to see here.

great score i was thinking of getting a 7970 as my first choice

but for the money i will go with my second choice gtx 560 448 on sli

Nice, but why not get ones with after market coolers? those will roast in X-fire.

Because so far a few after market cooling solutions have failed at thing like vrm or memory cooling. Even tho they have dropped the temps on the processor greatly

I love how people act like you can't run reference cards in Crossfire. Don't you think AMD thought of that and designed the coolers to work for it just fine? :P

Yeah they work fine but fail at OCing, I like cool cards for OC headroom.
