LoTek Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 I have a card that is having problems (Geforce4 Ti4400). When it is installed in the AGP slot and the computer starts up, there are a bunch of blocks in it. Would flashing it correct the problem? Also, how would I do that? Thanks Lotek
Eva_Unit_0 Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 I have seen a LOT of people that have that problem with the huge ti4400/4600 video cards. I think it has something to do with the card not fitting entirely into the agp slot...anyway, that seems to be a common problem. I know that many people I've seen with the problem had to rma the card, and ended up getting like an fx5600 in return. Some deal, huh? LoTek Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 That sucks, but when you RMA a card and they repair it - I've heard all they do is reflash the card. I was just curious if anyone knew how to do this. Do I just stick in a PCI Graphics card and try and flash from there?
