MJCRO Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) Pick up a Volkswagen Jetta TDI, the fully loaded one that VW offers has everything inside for around $28k $27k after taxes. Great car and awesome gas mileage. Edited January 18, 2012 by MJCRO
NikoDG Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 The Jetta is definitely a very nice economy car, though that Subaru Impreza the other guy suggested looks like a powerful sexy beast Haha
ekiM Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I'm going to change my vote to Impreza
NikoDG Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I guess I'll just have to test drive them both The VW comes in at about $10,000 cheaper, while having a combined fuel economy of 5.6L/100km. But it just doesn't have the balls the Impreza has Luckily, I don't need to compensate for anything

Krieg1337 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Dont get a bmw, audi or mercedes. All of them cost tons to maintain. My parents have had a mercedes, always something that had to be fixed and cost a lot(a windshield motor cost around $800 to replace), my parents currently have 2 bmws and they aren't that bad for the service(mostly free for 5 years) but they are wayyy too expensive for what they are. Just get yourself an Asian car that you like the look of since you get the most out of your money for performance, warranty and mpg. airman Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 You don't have 40K for your first car. Not my first car, just my first brand spanking new one. Audi S4 VW Jetta TDI NIssian 350Z - is RWD AWD is simply amazing in snowy hills. Even FWD can suck sometimes.
