Just remember that cpuz only shows the memory actual speed. Being memory is DDR Or double data rate CPU ID will only show the reference clock that it is operating or actual men speed. Double the number for the ram clock that cpuz gives you and you will get the speed its operating.

Open cpu-z, click on memory tab, open cpu-z again and click on spd tab, then use the sniping tool to take a screen shot and save it. Attach to post.

the bios is super basic. the info screen shows the memory size but not the speed. nothing is adjustable. i have the latest version. cpu-z showed the same thing with both versions. my fx6100 desktop rig has 1866 memory. cpu-z shows the correct speed no matter what i set it for but it identifies the memory as 1333. it has the latest bios too. i've never paid attention to what the bios says that memory is.

Here is what your problem is

Memory Standard: DDR3 1866(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066

You have to change the settings to get it to 1600. If you say your BIOS will not support it, then try updating the BIOS to see if it gives you extra functionality. You can also try downloading some of the ASUS utilities to try to overclock your ram to 1600 mhz.
