They really pack a good clean punch. Athough for mids and highs the 5ch set up from klipsch is hard to bet especially for the ~$500 mark. I love everything Polk makes. Just sayin' I hear ya.Kind of a Polk fan-boy myself.We have the Monitor line in our living room and in my spare room which I am in now, I use the RTi series.Also,Polk has excellent customer service.
