thats funny, the total bandwith is not used in 16x.

 

 

All I meant was that if the card was a WHOLE new technology such as x32, then it would justify the cost. But considering that for the price jump you would be better off saving and going with two cheap pci 2.0 cards on sale and sli them to beat out the performance increase from pci 3.0
