BluePanda Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Would that be an i-section, or has Apple trademarked that? Just in case it isn't obvious (my jokes aren't always clear) the reference is to the i3, i5, and i7 names. mature... DAMMIT. I was seriously just going to post that...hence my last post. Great minds think alike? mature...and I'd almost expect more from you.

Boinker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 AMD, cuz I don't need a huge e-peen. Seriously.... Intel... Switched from a Phenom II 965 to an I7920 and never have looked back. Using an I7 950 right now.
El_Capitan Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 When I got back into building computers 4 years ago (went into customizing and overclocking laptops for a while), it all started with the Phenom II x3 720 BE (two of them, or three, lol, I can't remember). I could never unlock the 4th core stable. Then I switched to the i7 920, which went to an i7 930, then finally an i7 950 before going onto an i7 2600K and now an i7 2700K. Unfortunately, AMD was always a backup with the 1090T, but the only AMD rig I have now is being used by my gf.
