d6bmg Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 That sucks mythos I can say that my new dv6-6024 is amazing. Pretty quiet even when cpu fan is going and relatively cool I wil be getting the cm u3 stand for it tho and the SSD which will drastically reduce temps and inverter battery. Although still waiting on the larger capacity battery to.come in stock :/ That looked like a good laptop you found but these problems are ridiculous. Try to get your money back from Cyberpowerpc at first.
DanTheGamer11 Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Hows that ever going to fit his budget They're relatively cheap... maybe his budget went up a bit since time passed?
IVIYTH0S Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 They're relatively cheap... maybe his budget went up a bit since time passed? You're talking about that crossfire Llano one right?? That one is likely the one I'll spring for.. Also update, I got the machine working when i tried installing windows from a disk but now (after I got a little comfortable with it) went to type something and there is a HORRENDOUS keyboard input lag. Like I could type 5 keystrokes really fast and then each word shows up over the next five seconds... I've definitely going to format the drive and send the turd back, this is after the drivers were all installed too... ASUS here I come! IVIYTH0S Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Now keyboard has been working fine...I'll go test in games/media and see if it keeps behaving, before I get too attached to this thing lol The battery life has been great for the performance pieces it contains
Fogel Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 The battery life has been great for the performance pieces it contains What kind of battery time are you getting from it? Before you DO get too attached to it... I would take advantage of the return policy. It doesn't sound like you will get much help if something messes up and you need to figure out how to fix it. No drivers on the website would be a huge turn off for me.
