Direct TV and everything about them sucks especially in an apartment complex with shared dish on each building. Service techs are dumb as a box of rocks and lazy. Customer service is an absolute joke. They try to jerk me around not knowing I am a techy and it just makes me crazy. Can't wait to canel in February.

End Rant.

F Direct TV.

What happened to analogue or free digital tv?

Has that gone forever for you guys?

It's kinda the same reason we don't use dial-up internet. It's outdated.

But anyway I have Cable with brighthouse. If they had a report card I would give them a D+.

Also I did have DirectTV before but here is what happens when it rains

And here is what happens when it doesn't

Yeah but it's free. When everybody's power, cable and phone was out for a week earlier in the month I was the only one around with TV. :cool2:

Besides, TV is pretty much crap, why pay for crap?

I must say I do agree. I hardly watch any tv at all. There is nothing on if there is a tv show I want to watch then I will let my pc record it or something and watch it when I feel like it.

With a correctly aligned dish and no obstructions there is rarely any interference with my DirecTV.

Sure when it is torrential downpouring it may be shitty but in a sever thunderstorm you should have your electronics off anyways.

That being said, unless you maintain your dish and keep it's view clear you are going to have problems quite a bit.
