Whitelightning Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 I just installed the newest version of MBM5 and have a question....I am overclocked to 2.40ghz, MBM 5 displays my mhz rating correctley but I cannot confugure it to show my temps correctley. It shows my cpu temp as 22c and my case as 18c.....which I know isn't right...East Tune 4 shws my case as 25c and my cpu temp at 40c. Any ideas how to conigure this so it shows the right temp? I have played with it but nothing works.
B Man Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 Hey White, I had the same problem with MBM 5. What i had to do and this may seem funny, but i had to Reboot and check bios sys temps, Boot and have mbm start with windows boot and check and after about 4 times some of the time i would do some intense graphics and work the system so that i got all temps and by ajusting mbm that way it is as close as its going to get. On the avr. all my temps in mbm with +10c. If you find a better way let me know. I was also confriming with AIDA, and Sandra.
AxcesDenyed Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 first make sure that youre reading the right sensors. different mobos sometimes have different sensor numbers. you can check it here. then if that is correct, all you can do is go into the settings and adjust the compensation for the sensor. Whitelightning Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 I have tried everything, my cpu temp is at 71f right now, which I know is not right, I have extreme cooling happening but not that extreme! I will try your suggestion and see how it works. I guess I will have to keep playing with it. All the other sensors seem to be reporting correctley except the temps. Thanks for the help! gravy Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 yeah, just boot into the bios, check temps, then adjust mbm to match do this a few times, and then it will be quite close
BeatRyder Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 http://mbm.livewiredev.com/comp/gigabyte.html That will lead you to the right sensors. Also make sure you have the latest nforce drivers, and then reinstall MBM, using the sensors on the page I linked to
