Deathmineral Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) I just found a great looking koozie, my mom recently lost hers and has been wanting another one so I figure she'll really like this one. Also, for anyone looking for some great gift ideas in a more arts and crafts fashion, the website I linked about is a great place to check out, a lot of really unique stuff on there and you can often find people on there that do a lot of custom work as well. Only down side is most of that stuff tends to be a little pricey I would say, but it's a lot of good quality and folks just using their hobbies to make some extra cash so I don't mind the prices much myself. Edit: Just to expand a little bit as to why I recommend etsy so much, the koozie in the link above, I had a question about it and when the seller responded they also told me to check out their facebook page for a coupon. Well I couldn't find it, probably because I'm kind of facebook ignorant and didn't feel like putting too much effort into searching for it, it would probably only shave off a couple bucks anyway after all so it wasn't a big deal. So I make the order without the coupon, walk away from the desk, when I come back I've got an email from the seller telling me they refunded me the shipping since I couldn't find the coupon. That, in my opinion, is just awesome, they didn't have to do that but it's something like that that makes me glad I bought their product, doesn't feel like a corporation trying to squeeze every last penny out of you, they feel like honest and good natured folks. Psywar Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 How is that holding up, I read some reviews that said it was *very* fragile glass. Holding up quite well. I think he always cleans it via Dishwasher. The reviews are correct the glass used is very thin. I am pretty positive I could easily break it by giving it a quick squeeze in my hand. Seems decently durable though. He has had it almost a year. I know it has been banged around in the cupboard and I know it gets banged around next to other glasses in the dishwasher. It's pretty damn cool looking though. They also make a Giant Beer Mug but it has a wine glass built into it. I was thinking about getting one for my mom lol! GabrielT Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I'll just leave this here http://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/ I was just about to post a link. I'm getting my dad a Mekcur DE razor. I started using a DE razor 6 months ago and I love it. Very cheap to get blades and a much better shave than any Fusion, Mach 3, or disposable. http://www.amazon.com/Merkur-Model-180-Handled-Safety/dp/B000NL0T1G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323237021&sr=8-
omegadoom13 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I've never grown out of playing with remote controlled vehicles. I own several remote controlled helicopters and cars.
