Boinker Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 lol. Did some tests and broke out the old Exergen temperature probe. Figured the Fittings on the radiator would be a great place to test inbound and outbound water temperature. So i did the power supply test and here are the results. Its either more radiator or more fannage. lol Its a heater @ full load water temp inbound 122'F or 50c @ full load Water temp outbound 105'F or 40.2c For those that dont see the picture here is the temp reads from the processor and GPU. Processor current 85c Processor Max 88c GPU current 76c GPU max 76c
Waco Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 @ full load water temp inbound 122'F or 50c @ full load Water temp outbound 105'F or 40.2c Your flow rate must not be very high if you have a 10 C difference between the inlet and outlet of the radiator. Boinker Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 We'll Waco I'm using the mcr35x pump. Do you think my CPU waterblock is bottling up or is That pump way to slow?

Boinker Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Nice man, very clean. I use to hate windows but I think they're growing on me now. Why have a great watercooling loop if you can see the business end of it?? Lol
Muchoman1 Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 but still, it would take pretty low flow rates to heat water up to 50c in a loop, and then 40c being fed into the 480 it would seem moar radiators are in order, and moar pump

Waco Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 We'll Waco I'm using the mcr35x pump. Do you think my CPU waterblock is bottling up or is That pump way to slow? I thought that was a fairly strong pump!

I love seeing nice loops when they've got coloured dye in them or w.e it is. Looks awesomely cool.

Boinker Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Colors dye and using coolant improves temps. RUUUUUUUN LOL, I need to test what the difference is one of these days. O'rileys coolant and distilled water versus distilled water. Lol
