DnaAngel Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I currently got my hands on a Asus Essentio CG 5275 Desktop PC, Surprisingly even being a Asus PC the BIOS has NO overclocking options...So im left with trying to OC through Software.. Ive tried running ClockGen and CPUFSB but both are apparently not supported by Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit? Also i know that the I series CPU's have either a DMI or QPI inplace of a FSB which is essentially the factor of which both programs OC. So even if the programs would boot am i essentially correct that they wouldnt do any good since the I5 650 uses a DMI and not a FSB? and if so what other ways can i go about OC'ing this I5 through software?
