Prime 95 little error..

Recommended Posts

So here's my problem, when i stop prime95 it says 0 problems 0 warnings but when i open results.txt it says "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4, Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file." CONSTANTLY! Passed a memtest86 test (20-25 minutes) no errors found is there something i should worry about or ?

Yep your overclock is not stable.

You can get a rough idea of where your issue lies based on the test that failed

Try bumping up your Vcore a little bit more until you're stable. If you go up a couple notches and still have that issue, it may be your DRAM voltages, overclock, or timing's as well.

Are you using the latest version? I used v2511 for what seemed like forever, but there is v266 out there too with better Intel Core ix support.
