You probably would be able to do medium/high at that res. But upgrading on a 375 Dell PSU isn't the best idea. Usually those PSU's are made only to allow for the system that you bought to run with whatever's in it. Upgrading to a GTX 2xx or 48xx card would probably not run very long before running into the ground IMHO. cheers.gif

I'm running a Q6600 @ the stock 2.4ghz, a 1gb GTS 250 with 4gb ram using a 19" 1440x900 LCD. This should be enough for medium-high on BF3 do you all think or would it be worthwhile to upgrade to a 1gb HD 4870/4890 or GTX280/285?

This is in a Dell Precision 390 with the stock 375w Delta PSU which has a 30a combined +12v rating or 18a per +12v rail so this should be enough for a higher end GPU I hope.

You will be able to play on medium probably. which is about what consoles run on. and don't worry about upgrading anything until you get a new PSU

you will not be able to do medium/high

low/medium is probably what you would get and be able to keep a respectable frame rate wtihout getting killed all the time

btw, those benchmarks from Tom were all done on low settings
