Nemo Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 If you're building a high-end rig with enthusiast-level power requirements, check out the OCC review on the Thermaltake Toughpower 1350W Power Supply - http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/tt_tp_1350w/
Black64 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Very pricey. But if your building a system that needs that much then you can afford a good PSU.
Andrewr05 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Pretty nice power supply, it seems to output very clean voltages. Though I suppose at $350+ it better.
Waco Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Damn...that's a lot of power for a lot of money. For that price I'd just buy two kilowatt PSUs and have money left over. My "950" watts PCP&C PSU was only $90 after rebate. Double that and you're still $160 less than this thing and you've got a LOT more power on tap as well. Stonerboy779 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I would much prefer to outlay the money for the silverstone strider 1200watt gold. Small form that will fit cases easily not the extended form of most PSUs of similar capacity. Plus dont see myself needing more than the 100A the single 12v rail can supply if I did I would get the 1500watt version which is still cheaper than this tt one.
