Mombo Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Alright in the middle of a new build I already have a PC & Power Cooling 750w PSU 60amp on 12 rail. Currently only going for 1 570 but I am wondering if down the road I go SLI will I need to get a new PSU as well? Here is the system Corsair 650D 3 fans 2x200m 1x120mm 2x750gb WD Black HDD ASROCK p67 mobo i5 2500k (going for 4.5ghz) gskill 1.5v 2x4gb EVGA reference GTX 570 (ill keep this stock if I have to) CM Hyper 212+ 2x120mm fans Creative Titanium XFI HD Sound card What do yall think on that for power consumption? Other things I am thinking of adding down the road are 8gb more Ram same stuff a 120gb SSD prob maybe 160gb and then the SLI GTX 570 Think I will need more then 750? More then 850? El_Capitan Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 You'll be fine, you can even overclock both at 1100mV's Core Voltage (just don't go over that or your VRM's *might* blow).
Mombo Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Oh wow the 750w PSU's can handle SLI 570's and OC'd gpu's? :) Cant wait! I was reading around and it looked like I was gonna need a 950w or something....Was making the cost of SLI soooo high. Now maybe its a Christmas present
