alentor Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Hello! I want to purchase a graphics card from europe (my parents are going there for a vacation), which manufacture supports global warranty? I did a search but all the results I found were from 2010, so I just wanted to be sure. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks! Onion Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) I think the warranty applies worldwide, but I'm not sure how high the shipping costs would be. I understand why you want to get a graphics card from Europe though, I've been to Israel and tech there is pretty expensive. Just make sure your parents aren't caught at customs, they'd have a hard time explaining themselves lol. Hhh, Yeah, I already took care of that, I have prepared a map for them, from their hotel tot he shop (Thank you google maps!). I have checked the shop before, there are English speaking personal... My main concern is the warranty right now. If its worldwide or not. Guess my best bet will be going with asus. From what I read they do support Global warranty. Thank you for your quick reply! kingdingeling Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I bought a few DFI parts in the states back in the day, they had no problem giving me warranty in Europe when I had a problem. Also, EVGA does worldwide.

Also, EVGA does worldwide. Well they have only EVGA GTX 570 1.2GB, I want to get HD6870 2GB for BF3, cause HD 6970 has 2GB of VRAM. From what I read BF3 will require a lot of VRAM if you want to run the game at 1080P. Thats why I want to get a 2GB card. Prunes Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Why do you want to buy from Europe, if I may ask? It's probably one of the most expensive places to buy hardware from. I don't know the prices in Israel, but I know that Europe is more expensive than America and Asia at least.

If I remember its something like 33% or 22% TAX for hardware in Israel. You gotta get the money from somewhere to buy 30 F35s... Speedway Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I know MSi doesn't support a Worldwide warranty. Sold a X58 Pro-E mobo on Ebay, international. Pretty sure the buyer fried it OCing, but he had to send it back to me for the RMA!

Oh btw I know this isn't relevant but did you know your sig's image originally came from Here Yeah, did you also notice that my nickname designed in BFBC2 style?. Dont think its the best way, they dont really specify much about warranty on their website. Also I want to hear it from ppl that know and not from some forum moderator that is paid to answer questions. Thanks!
My_Inner_Fred Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 What I meant was to email or get in touch with a representative. They usually are more knowledgeable in info like this.
