El_Capitan Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I've been reading that the 6770 is little more than a rebranded Juniper sporting a spiffy new BIOS in CPU Magazine. They say it wouldn't do much for frame rates, but add support for HDMI 1.4a (Blue-ray 3D). Still, anyone with a 5770 should try it for curiosity's sake. I have a 5870... so it's not 6000 series and no HDMI 1.4 which nobody use and more expensive( 3D gaming with 6770?)... they just probably want to displace some stock... come on 7000 series! I haven't dove into GPU bios' and the such in my education so far, let alone as to how those will effect each other, but thought I'd at least point out that difference.
