akis_56 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Both of those are dual link dvi The first is dvi-d being the 24 digital pins The second is dvi-i and the additional pins are for analogue source and thus it is backwards compatible to VGA. Single link dvi is a cable missing some of the middle pins in the array of 24 6 missing actually. Here I found a pic that describes it all. http://www.mp3car.com/attachments/hardware-development/21593d1131560910-schematics-pin-outs-diagrams-displayconnectors.jpg so i have the right cable? Stonerboy779 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Yes you do have the right cable which makes things even more annoying that things are not responding correctly.

smduff Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Gainward is owned by Palit its the same company so it won't be a compatibility issue.

wevsspot Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 From an earlier question that I posed - ............................If so, in the nVidia control panel do you have spanning enabled and does the control panel show that you have all three monitors connected? And after it goes to the 800x600 resolution you can't manually change to the correct resolution? I'm assuming that's the case or you'd already have this solved. Have you tried a different SLi bridge? Maybe the one you've got is defective?

wevsspot Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I'm at a loss. Guess you could keep the extra card for a spare - or sell it and buy a GTX 460 or 560 for Physx and pocket the change.
