Slow EVGA GTX 570 Card - Bad 3dmark scores and low fps in games

Hello out there

Recently I am having some trouble with my new card - an Evga Gtx 570 which should be able to handle most games with brilliance :) I just ran a 3Dmark test, and scored a disappointing P5626!! I am very curious why the performance is that bad. I am gaming Witcher 2, but only with a FPS at 12-20! Therefore I would like to ask if anyone could help me out of this.

So, a little info to work with:

- I have updated to the latest drivers from nvidia

- My computer specs are:

- ASUS P8Z68-V, Socket-1155

- Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL7 (2x2GB)

- Intel Core i5 Quad Processor i5-2500K

- Corsair TX V2 850W PSU

- Western Digital Caviar® Black 750GB

- All in a Silencio 550 from CoolerMaster

I have used the auto-oc that is available in Asus AI Suite II.

I have placed the card in the PCIe 2.0 x16 slot.

The settings of the card in Evga Precision is at default.

I hope that someone is able to help me. I would be very thankful.

/ Mathias

Is the card overclocked or the CPU??

I've heard that Witcher 2 is VERY poorly coded so if you're running a fairly higher resolution (aka 1920+) and maxing the settings, then I see nothing really out of the ordinary here

If its Witcher 2 with ubersampling ON then I can say 12-20FPS is normal since my SLI 580's have to be overclocked to try get close to 60FPS .

Witcher 2 is like that until you switch off Uber and that 3D Mark 11 score is normal if you havent oc'ed it yet .
