550 watt enough?

Recommended Posts

Got a new build - SB 2600k (plan to OC :D)

Dunno what motherboard yet :/

2x2 gb DDR3

2 HDs

1 TV tuner

and 1 6970.

Would my current PSU run the system 100% stable? Antec states that the PSU is 550 watt continuous, meaning that its able to output 550 watts constantly.

If you aren't overclocking 550W is perfectly fine, but if you want to overclock then get a 650W. Want to CF get a 750W, and if you want to overclock AND CF then get a 850W :P

550W may not be enough. It depends on what brand and model PSU. Surprised nobody mentioned this. List the make and model OP.
