PC clear bios switch tool mod

Tired of looking into the pc and onto the mobo thinking where is that bios reset jumper? Fiddling around in the case? Can't reach that jumper? Distorted arm movements? Knees and head on the floor? Set that multiplier that requires increased voltage? Then this mod may appeal to you. This is an overclocking time saver.

 

Parts needed: pc case reset switch

 

Installation

 

Remove the case panel allowing access to the mobo. Find an appropiate installation place for the switch.

 

 

Take the two pin reset switch connector and plug into the mobo two pin clear bios jumper. Secure the case panel to the case.

 

 

Operation

 

With the pc powered down press and hold the tool button for a few seconds and then release.

 

I used an old case reset switch which was just shy of the needed length; Therefore, I spliced the cable and extended it. Once I am finished oc this setup I will remove the tool.
