Hi guys,

So I found a special on a local supplier of the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 watercooling kit

It really appeals to me since I have money available and its got great cooling performance according to this review.

What do you guys think of it ?

Thanks

I think I remember people saying you need to have a bit of air flow over the bottom of the water bay / pump enclosure to avoid overheating the pump long-term. It's a good kit other than that one potential issue.

I have one of those kits in my AMD rig, and it works great. I didn't care for the fans and the radiator is a very old design that's not too efficient, but the fans are easy to swap out and the rad will cool...just not nearly as well as a RX360 or HWLabs product.

My AMD rig gets used almost daily by my wife and I've never had a problem with the pump or reservoir, and that's without any type of airflow around it. It's been pushing water through a RX360 and two GTX 460 FC blocks without a hiccup. It's not strong enough to run much more, but my pump setups in my Intel rigs cost alot more than this complete kit, so you get what you pay for.

NYT - go for it. It's a perfect starter kit.

If the pump is going to go it's going to go early. Otherwise it will last you long enough until you're ready to do something else.

I've been very happy with my XSPC Res/Pump combo.

Im sure I can mod a fan in there , I've got some fast 120mm's and 80mm's so I'll fit which ever has enough space.

Ok thanks Wevs . Hopefully the pump will live for quite a while :P Else I'll just buy a seperate res and get a MCP655 pump with new barbs and fittings for 1/2 ID tubing :P

This kit is costing me $315 in converted currency so it better be worth it . I've got a buyer for my H70 anyway :)
