SpeedCrazy Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Hey All, I am looking for a well written learn from the basics javascript book. Ideally it would be easy to read slowly building up to reasonably complex. I want something that deals with a fairly recent javascript edition, my library only has books from <2004. Any recommendations. Google may be my friend but i am want recommendations of at least authors or even books. My first check was for dummies but they dont have anything post 2004 and even that wasn't in very much depth. Thanks, Speed
d3bruts1d Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 W3 Schools is a decent JS source of info. Some of the O'Reilly books are decent, though you usually have to get 2-3 to cover everything. You'd probably be better off just searching for JS help, tutorials, and lessons than getting a book.
SpeedCrazy Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Yeah, i am currently reading the w3 stuff. The reason i was looking for a book is because with my monitor dying the flickering make read long amounts of time difficult.
