Well I just moved to a new house that is newer and a lot better insulated, so once I see what the first power bill looks like, you may have a race on your hands :biggrin::foldon:

What does it cost you to fold 24/7?

I assume you pay ~.10/kWh plus or minus a penny or two.

I have no way of measuring the wattage my comp uses but am curious. The rig in my sig runs 24/7...been going ~ 2 years...wonder what I've wasted (uhhm, invested!)

Someone figured it up one time and it was like $10 a month per machine, that seemed to be real close to what it cost me also. Of course energy is higher now but new stuff uses less power also so...

Hmm, never looked at the cost. I do keep 3 machines running most of the time (sometimes more if im feeling spunky)
