Fogel Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I feel bad for GamerSpawn. They put so much hardwork into these trailer analysis and people just dislike the CoD ones just because they are CoD No joke! It's like the new trend now - I hate CoD therefore I R COOL. Like you said though, it is hard to find to find MP action that is so fluid and fast paced. If they didn't make knifing so stupid easy as well as noob tubing/RPG (glaring at you One Man Army and Danger Close) they would be very close to one of the best MP FPS games ever made. Granted I would still change up killstreaks and a couple other tweaks but knifing and explosions are the worst offenders. So it is good to see they are doing some of these things in MW3. It should be interesting to see how it works out. I'm really liking this - the new streak system is definitely looking great! I've always liked the more intelligent, objective based approach to the game and this seems to compliment it nicely. Especially the support streak tree. I still see people not playing the objectives, but those of us that do should actually benefit and have the advantage.
InCrYsIs Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Have they announced minimum specs for this yet? I can't seem to find them so I'm thinking no. The group I play with is mixed and most of us are doing BF3 since we have PCs that can play it. But we have some that have WIN XP and terrible video cards(that should be right up MW3's alley). WhenKittensATK Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 None have been posted yet, I think. I would just look at Black Ops specs and a notch or two higher.
InCrYsIs Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 None have been posted yet, I think. I would just look at Black Ops specs and a notch or two higher. The OS is the real concern. I would imagine a 9000 series nvidia card will be fine but if it doesnt support XP they will be up a creek.
WhenKittensATK Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Pretty sure it would support XP, it's probably still DX 9 based.
WhenKittensATK Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/call-of-duty-2011-project/1196687p1.html PC version get: party system (like consoles) lobby system (like consoles/ MW2) server browser dedicated servers (full control over ban lists, game setup rules, all that stuff that we know our PC players said they wanted coming out of Modern Warfare 2) public server files (meaning you can host your own servers, however they are debating on whether or not to allow ranked servers this way) They are working on getting a minimum system requirements out. More control over Theatre mode and more tournament support on the PC (probably means the reworked theatre mode to include spectating live games? Imagine live instant replays on a live server, not talking about kill cam) Discussing about mod tools, said it takes a works when they have plenty of other things that are a higher priority instead. WhenKittensATK Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 (edited) Killstreaks don't reset....so that means if I just die all the time but somehow manage to get lets say 14 kills I can still get a chopper gunner? Nope. Support package or w/e is called only provides support rewards. Like UAV and etc. They aren't killing rewards like choppers. 3 styles of rewards (You select one of the 3): Assault = Killstreaks -> Rewards that kill stuff (chopper) -> Reset when you die Support = Point based -> Rewards that help the team (UAV jammer) -> Don't reset when you die Specialist = Powers of 2 killstreak -> Get a new perk at 2, 4, 8, 12 (or maybe its multiple of twos: 2, 4, 6, 8, 12) -> Reset when you die Edited October 21, 2011 by Krazyxazn
