Recommended Posts

Hey all, Im new here. My first post. I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with building a wooden case and any special worries I should be concerned with?

I'd stay away from the wood if I were you. It doesn't cool or paint as good as metal. And like Psywar said, its gonna be heavy.

I guess drilling holes and MoDing the case will be easier in most cases (cases in most cases, what?).

And hey, its diffrent, so thats a +

As always......if yah finish it, Post Some Pics :D

If you search the forums a bit, there was a beautiful (oak?) case that was made by a member's father, it would go nice along some home stereo equipment or a grandfather clock..
