Hi all,

In the last couple of days, windows 7 has decided to delete all my backrounds and will not run Aero.
I am running 4 screens (3 eyfinity + 1) with a main screen res of 6064x1080.
My rig is more than capable of running aero (i7 950, 12gb Dominators, dual 6970s) and is running windows 7 Pro sp1 OEM 64bit.
It has a button saying 'Troubleshoot problems with transparency and other Aero effects' but after running it cant identify the problem.
The microsoft forums havent been any help and it is really . me off...

Any solutions/ideas would be greatly appreciated

Deleting backgrounds? Sounds like you've either got a RAM or HDD problem...

Tolerance is a sign of weakness.

Both are fine. I dont even know where i stored the backrounds.
I put the HDD in my lan rig and when i returned it to the main one it had these problems...
Would that do it?

I was going to say a driver issue, but this is probably what was updated that fixed the problem.
