pkilway Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) I was 10, we had an hour before the 1980 Winter Olympics coverage started for the evening, parents were out for the night, my sister decided to turn on "The Exorcist" to kill the hour. Yes, it was the edited for TV version, but to a 10 yr old that's some scary ^*(^%!!!!! Had nightmares for a few nights, didn't like to be left alone for a few weeks and went to bed saying a few Hail Mary's and Our Father's after seeing just the beginning. I couldn't watch the whole movie (unedited) until sometime in college. Edited June 7, 2011 by pkilway
_TheAlexO Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 the original Halloween movies scared the bejeezus out of me when i was a kid, not so much anymore. The Strangers was pretty good, not necessarily scary, but fudged up. Most scary movies just make me laugh. Im a huge fan of the genre but nothing now-a-days is any good.
