do i need to re-apply thermal compound again..?

for testing, i removed the stock cooler and fitted again, does this invalidate the thermal compound on the cooler..?

do i have to reapply some other thermal compound now..?

It's usually a pad type compound on the stock cooler so you should be OK. If you want a little better performance then it's always a good idea to remove the original compound (clean with a little isopropyl alcohol) and apply a good quality thermal compound. If you want to overclock you should replace the stock cooler.

when i removed it yesterday i saw a uneven footprint on processor. is this normal or it should be even..?
