JBags Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. Silver/Metal (srs paint wear lol) w/ Red interior 3.6L V6, 90 thousand something miles by end The thing was beast! very comfortable, good relaxing ride, had umph when you wanted/needed it. I loved that car. Tranny went after a 5 years (was my grandmother's for a long while). repair would have cost more than the car was worth, so I junked it and got what i have now ('98 chevy malibu)
greengiant912 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 1992 Ford Taurus. I paid $1200 for it, and the car ran great all up until the exhaust fell off it senior year of HS. I wanted to get it fix because that was the only thing wrong, but my mom ended up selling it for $50 I was pretty upset, however she did buy me a car for my graduation gift so I can't be to upset. I still miss that car, it was a POS but it drove.
Savan Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 86 Olds Toronado 3.8 V6 Drove it to school Got a ticket for going 43 in a 40 found out that even though the speedometer stopped and started flashing at 85, the car was capable of a lot more than that learned how to turn a corner at 45 when the power steering drops out in the middle of it learned how to change a timing belt learned how to change a battery ran over a curb with it ran into a sign with it on an icy day filmed a movie in it (no, not that kind:P) learned that if the engine stalls while running, you could shift into neutral start it again, and shift back into drive without stopping replaced a flat tire with the spare, only to find out that the spare was flat too. flareback Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 What makes you say that? well there's this Smashed the drivers mirror off backing out the garage Scratched the passenger side on my brick letterbox Dented the passenger side door on a parking pole Ran up the back of another car and this Ran over a no parking sign across the street from Terry Parker HS. So maybe just a few people. But I'm going to assume that not everyone told their stories.
