Changes I'd make:

HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148395 My dad has this drive, it's awesome and cheaper. Get it :P

I forgot about the 925, that's a great value chip!

other alternatives

x3 720 BE for $75: http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=184013&st=0&p=1913475&hl=phenom&fromsearch=1entry1913475 (4th core unlockable)

x4 955 BE for $120: http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=182985&st=0&p=1899856&hl=phenom&fromsearch=1entry1899856

x4 965 BE for $120: http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=182000&st=0&p=1886676&hl=phenom&fromsearch=1entry1886676 (B2 stepping)

CPU Cooler: http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=181431&st=0&p=1888301&hl=phenom&fromsearch=1entry1888301 Sunbeam Core Contact, amazing AM3 cooler! ESPECIALLY FOR $15!

One of those 9x5s looks like a good possibility since the Seagate and Sapphire brought the price down a bit. Also, the guy's post for the Sunbeam said it was for an AM2 socket, so I'm not sure about that one.

But now my build is looking something like:

GPU:

Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 $140

HDD:

Seagate Barracuda 500GB $45

MOBO:

Openbox MSI 870A-G54 $61

PSU:

630 watt RaidMax $50

CPU:

Used AMD Phenom II x4 965 or 955 $120

RAM:

4GB DDR3 1333Mhz Mushkin Silverline $45

DVD Drive:

Samsung SH-S222A $22

Total: $483

I think thats a pretty good build (without a case), unless someone else has some great deal suggestions...

AM2 and AM3 are the same mounting style, the Sunbeam will work and you have the best $500 I think I've ever had a hand in building (My cousin's AM3 quad has that same awesome cooler on it right now)

Thanks. Did not know that.

And I would like to thank you all for helping with this build.
