MandoPatriot Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I'm not really a fan of the new Regals. Should have been a RWD V6 turbo, not a 4 cyl... Don't get me wrong, I would still rock one, but I like mine more.

IVIYTH0S Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 ya the new Regals look WAY too much like BMWs, figures, they were designed in Germany . I'm not against anyone's engineering but please, if it's an American car....have an American design it. (even if the design is worse) And the cobalts use the 2.0 turbo setup too, it just was the same basic block as the 2.4l I'm rocking the "LOL" 1.9L from GM myself
Waco Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) Are those mid-90s Mustang wheels painted black? They look good! Edited April 10, 2011 by Waco

Waco Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 99-04 Mustang GT Premium wheels powder-coated gloss black. Me like! Just as a side note - did you get the powder-coating done yourself? How much did it run (I'm looking to powder-coat my Cobalt wheels satin black).
MandoPatriot Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 No. I'm sure I could have, but I just have a regular oven and none of the tools to do it right. I took it to a guy I found on craiglist who sandblasted them and then powder-coated them. $200 for all 4.

That's what I meant, not doing it yourself but paying someone to do it (as opposed to buying them already done). $200 sounds pretty reasonable! Boinker Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Just curious trap but have you lowered the vehicle? The rear end looks like it has some excessive camber in it is my only reason for asking.
MandoPatriot Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Yes, the car is lowered on Eibach springs and KYB AGX struts. The camber probably is off, I have been replacing old suspension and need an alignment when I get her together correctly. Just the inner and outer tie-rods then all done! Waco Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I will say I don't like one thing about the car (I like the rest, superchargers <3) is the headlights. I hate Silverstars.
