You might be able to find out the actual maker and possibly even the part number of the memory using cpuz.

2x2GB single channel FTW.

I'm going to have to reassemble my computer in the near future so I'll try dual channel again to see if its mended itself like my Ethernet port did.

I checked 2GB (2 x 1GB) but in reality I only have a single 1GB stick at the moment as the other one is off on an RMA journey to Patriot - and since they no longer make my memory I talked them into giving me a 2x2GB kit in exchange. So in the end I'll actually have 4GB.

Ive got 3x 4gb ddr3 1333 sticks, and there are 4 slots total. So 3 sticks rule out the dual channel. Running single for now

nope, thats dual channel for 8GB and single for the last 4GB... works like raid 0 according to what i know...

 

EDIT: spelling, and i have 4GB DDR2-600-950 depening on CPU clocks of the day...
